Terms of sale

- Quotes
- Quotes are valid for 7 days from the date issued. Freight rates move with fuel and lane availability, so an expired quote is re-run rather than honored. Prices exclude sales tax unless the quote says otherwise.
- Orders and payment
- Orders are confirmed when payment clears, or when an approved purchase order is received from a municipal buyer on net 30 terms. Card and ACH are accepted. Product is scheduled after confirmation, not before.
- Delivery
- Delivery is quoted per truckload to a single address with legal flatbed access. Waiting time beyond one hour, redelivery, and sites the truck cannot reach are billed at carrier cost plus a handling charge shown on the quote.
- Unloading and risk
- Unloading is the buyer’s responsibility unless placement is purchased, and requires equipment rated for the unit weight at the reach required. Drivers do not unload. Risk passes to the buyer on delivery to the agreed address.
- Product description
- Products are precast concrete units sold for perimeter definition, material containment, ballast, walls and general construction use. They are not crash tested or certified vehicle impact barriers and are not sold as such. Dimensions are nominal and casting tolerance applies. Color and surface variation is normal and is not a defect.
- Cancellation
- Once production is scheduled or a truck is dispatched, production and carrier charges apply. Custom units cannot be cancelled once the pour is scheduled.
- Rental
- Rental periods run from delivery to collection. The customer keeps units accessible to a flatbed and provides loading equipment unless loading was purchased. Missing or damaged units are billed at replacement cost. Rental units remain the property of American Barrier Blocks or its supplier.
- Limitation of liability
- Liability is limited to the value of the product supplied. The buyer is responsible for the design and engineering of any wall, perimeter, ballast plan or security measure built with these products.
