Jersey barriers, delivered
New concrete jersey barrier in 10 ft and 12 ft lengths, on a flatbed to your job. We quote the barrier and the freight as two numbers, and we say plainly what the product does and does not do.
What it is
A jersey barrier is a precast concrete section with a sloped face and a wide base. The slope is the whole idea: a vehicle that drifts into it rides up the face and gets steered back instead of stopping dead. That is why it became the standard on highway work and why it turns up on any job where traffic and people share a line.
We sell it new. Used barrier is sourced on request, and we will not pretend we have a yard full of it waiting, because we do not hold stock of anything. What we do is find the section, price the freight to your ZIP and put it on a truck.
A jersey barrier is not a crash rated security product. It is not tested or certified to ASTM F2656 or IWA 14, and anyone selling it to you as vehicle attack protection is selling you something it is not.

Jersey barrier, K-rail, and the names in between
Ask for a jersey barrier in California and you will be quoted K-rail. Ask for K-rail in New Jersey and you will get a blank look, then the same product. The shape and the job are the same.
Specifications also use temporary concrete barrier, portable concrete barrier, and concrete jersey wall. If a drawing calls for one of those, quote it and check the dimensions, not the label.
Getting it to your site
Everything ships on a flatbed, the lower 48 states wide. Freight is quoted to your ZIP because distance, truck count and access are what actually drive it.
You unload with a forklift or telehandler rated for the weight, or you add placement to the quote and we bring the machine. The driver does not unload.

Jersey barrier questions
- How fast do I get a real number?
- Within the hour during desk hours for a standard order to a ZIP we deliver to. Custom sizes, rentals and purchase orders take a business day because a person prices them by hand.
- Are these crash rated?
- No. Concrete barriers and blocks are mass. Nothing we sell is crash tested or certified to ASTM F2656 or IWA 14, and we will tell you that on the phone as readily as we print it here. If your job needs a rated system, buy one and use our product for the static perimeter around it.
- Is a jersey barrier the same thing as K-rail?
- Yes, in practice. K-rail is the western name for the same sloped concrete barrier. Quote either one and you will get the same product.
- Do you sell used barriers?
- We source used on request. We do not hold used stock, so we will not tell you a yard full of it is waiting. If used is what you want, ask and we will go look.
